Tumbili Campsite Diani is located right in the middle of Diani beach. The campsite is on the beach front with 3 bedroom house on the grounds which can be shared or for private use. Amenities at the campsite include: basic toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.
We are set within Diani’s indigenous forest with resident monkeys, baboons, colobus monkeys and variety of bird life. A nature lover haven.
Tumbili Campsite Diani is ideal for camper vans or vehicles with roof top campers. We have electrical outlets that can be used of your daily use. We have ample grounds for school groups, students, backpackers, and church youth group to pitch and camp. Our location is ideal for team building activities.

WHAT WE OFFER
Beach front cottage
The cottage is private and comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a private bathroom and shower, the other two rooms share a bathroom.
Camper Van or Car
Tumbili campsite is spacious to accommodate Recreational vehicle(RV) camping. It has an option of an ocean view over the cliff or be surrounded by trees
Tent
Pitching own tent on Tumbili Campsite grounds is $10 per person. This includes use of kitchen facilities. Dorm tent rental, mattress and bedding is available at the rate of $15 per person per night. Family tent is $20 per night inclusive of bedding.

How far are we from Diani airport?
Our campsite is 8 minutes’ drive from Diani beach airport (Ukunda Airstrip) Taxi to our campsite will cost between $5-10.
What is the distance from Moi International Airport
It is approximately 38km from Mombasa airport to Diani beach. It takes about 1.5 – 2 hours to get to Diani depending on traffic at the ferry crossing. Taxi will cost you between $40-$55 to get here.
If you are coming down to the coast by train, you can catch the local shuttle buses that ply Mombasa – Diani beach route. They charge about $6 per person for the ride to Diani beach. If you need help with organizing your transfers get in touch with us.
Where exactly are we located?
If you are using public transport, we located just before the Diani Beach Shopping Centre. Opposite the Bazaar, right after Kaskazi Beach Resort
Are you near a hospital?
We are centrally located in Diani Beach. The Diani Hospital which is 10 minutes away. Aga Khan Diani hospital and The Palm Beach Hospital is 15 minutes from our campsite.
What about restaurants and supermarkets?
If you take the left turn from our campsite the Diani beach shopping Centre is a walking distance from our campsite. They have supermarkets and vegetable stalls.
If you take a right turn the new Carrefour Supermarket is ideal for freshly baked bread, you can get a quick coffee and internet at Java House restaurant in the same building. Absa and DTB bank are very close by if you need to change money. Safaricom and Telkom are located on the 1st floor this will cater for your Sim card and airtime/internet needs. The banks are easily accessible from our location since one can take the local tuktuk from the roadside to anywhere you want in Diani beach.
